One of the best coaches that I have ever had the pleasure of getting to know.

Coach Hines has also been very successful. Since becoming an assistant coach in 2001 he has helped coach 6 of the 9 teams he has had. Since becoming head coach
in 2006 he has taken all four teams to state. Pretty impressive record!

I've been pretty vocal in my, uh, "discussions" with certain Huntington North alumni but I was rooting for Huntington North to do great this
season. I have great admiration for Coach Hines and his program and have enjoyed getting to know Ochs, Graham and Roberts. We'll miss them. And we look
forward to another year of Doughty. Get healthy dude!
It's a shame that injuries (and lots of them) and sickness derailed the Vikings from achieving their goal. They were a cinch for the podium, if not top 2-3. Coach Hines did a great job developing those three guys and he will simply continue to develop talent and reload.....they'll be back in Terre Haute next season. You can count on it! |
